Outdoor Installation Disclaimer
Artos decorative plumbing fixtures are designed for indoor residential and commercial use. However, select products may be installed in outdoor environments subject to the following conditions:
Finish Requirements
Only fixtures with PVD finishes—specifically Brushed Nickel (BN) or Satin Brass (SB)—are approved for outdoor installation. These finishes offer enhanced durability and corrosion resistance suitable for exposure to the elements.
Limited Warranty for Outdoor Use
When installed outdoors and in compliance with the above finish requirement, the product warranty is limited to one (1) year from the date of purchase. This limited warranty covers manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship only. Environmental damage, including but not limited to corrosion, fading, discoloration, or finish deterioration, is excluded from coverage beyond the stated one-year period.
Non-PVD Finishes
Fixtures with non-PVD finishes—including but not limited to Chrome (CH), Matte Black (BK), and Polished Nickel (PN)—are not approved for outdoor use. Installation of these finishes in outdoor environments will result in immediate and complete voiding of all warranty coverage, regardless of time since purchase.
Additional Considerations
Proper care and maintenance are essential to preserving product performance and finish in outdoor environments. Installations exposed to salt air, direct sunlight, or extreme weather conditions may experience accelerated wear. Protective measures such as overhead coverings or periodic rinsing are recommended.
By proceeding with an outdoor installation, the purchaser acknowledges and accepts these warranty limitations and assumes full responsibility for any resulting wear or damage outside the scope of coverage described herein.
