Why does my shower arm escutcheon not fit on the shower arm?
Encountering difficulties with fitting your Artos shower arm escutcheon onto the shower arm? We've got the solution for you:
Before attaching the escutcheon collar and fittings to the shower arm, it's essential to remove the brass fitting from the pipe's end. The brass connection may require gentle heating to loosen the sealant, facilitating the removal of the brass fitting. Check out the accompanying photo for visual reference on the brass fitting removal process.
Please note that if the pipe fitting is not brass and matches the product finish (chrome, brushed nickel, etc.) it cannot be removed. You should have no great difficulty in pushing the escutcheon over the pipe threads in this case.
