How do I install a flow restrictor for my hand shower?

Looking to save water without sacrificing your shower experience? Follow these steps to add a flow restrictor to your hand-held shower in the shower hose.

You can purchase a 2.5 gpm flow restrictor here: https://artos.us.com/products/xp-12353

Step 1: Remove the Hand Shower

Start by carefully removing the hand-held shower from the shower hose. This will provide you with better access to install the flow restrictor in the hose.

Step 2: Insert the Flow Restrictor

Examine the flow restrictor closely. On one side of the flow restrictor, you'll notice a black O-ring. Place this side facing downwards into the shower hose. Gently insert the flow restrictor into the hose, ensuring a snug fit. The O-ring should help secure it in place.

Step 3: Reinstall the Hand Shower

With the flow restrictor now securely positioned inside the hose, reattach the hand-held shower to the other end of the hose. Make sure to connect it tightly to create a secure seal against the flow restrictor.

Step 4: Visualize the Process

If you're more of a visual learner, watch the video below to see the installation process in action. This step-by-step demonstration will help you understand the process better and ensure you're on the right track.
