Turning the F980V Handle Trim Into a Single Function System
*The valve must be first capped off at one of the outlets
Following the steps outlined below will allow the handle to rotate to one side instead of 2 sides.

1. With the handle and square metal handle adapter removed, start by removing the black rubber gasket located at the base of the stem. Using a fi nger nail to remove it works best. Use precaution when removing the gasket to avoid tearing it.
2. After removing the gasket it should look like this. Notice that the two metal -/+ rings are installed in the 12 o’clock position.
3. Rotate both the metal -/+ clips to the right until they reach blue raised bumper.
4. Reinsert the rubber gasket. Reinstall the square adapter and handle. The handle will no only rotate to one side for a single function application
